The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has officially confirmed that the Intermediate (HSSC) First Year Annual Examinations 2026 will begin on April 28, 2026, bringing clarity for thousands of students across the country.
Alongside the exam date, the board has opened online admission submissions and issued a detailed schedule for regular, private, and improvement candidates. Students have been advised to complete the process on time to avoid late fees.
According to FBISE, admission forms can be submitted with normal fees until February 3. Submissions with double fees will be accepted from February 4 to February 12, while triple fees will apply from February 13 to February 24.
The examination fee for First Year (Part-I) has been set at Rs. 2,700, while unregistered candidates will pay Rs. 4,200. Students appearing in both Part I and Part II together will be charged Rs. 5,400. An additional Rs. 2,000 will apply for corrections in forms or roll number slip details.
FBISE has also announced full fee exemptions for orphans, persons with disabilities, and candidates in prison. Students are urged to carefully review their information before submission as preparations for the 2026 exams officially begin.
