Education Minister Punjab Rana Sikandar Hayat has purpose new changes in academic calendar to overcome the academic gaps. They considering to short summer vacations by 15 to 20 days.
As we know Education minister is very passionate about their work in this meeting they also purposed some major changes in academic calendar to improve quality of education and timely completion of sllaybus.
The major reason behind these consideration is to increase teaching days from now that is 180 to 190 days a year to overcome educational gaps that we faces.
Also ppurposed they are consideringthe school will remain open on alternative Sunday to improve academic excellence.
As per officials they are considering reduction in summer vacations by 15 to 20 days and winter holidays by 5 to 6 days.
